With a new week upon us, The Parent Spot was on a search to find a new site or blog to share with our readers. With a dedication to all things parenting, we strive to balance between sharing information for both moms and dads alike. This week we will devote our spotlight to Building Camelot.

Building Camelot is a blog dedicated to parenting and family from a dad’s perspective. Created by a husband and father of two, Tyler Wainright, Building Camelot is Tyler’s online oasis to support dad’s in growing with their families.

One thing that Tyler mentions on his blog that is geared to dad’s, but honestly pertains to parenting in general, “I’ll make plenty of mistakes along the way but hopefully I can inspire other men to build their own Camelot.”

I have been perusing around Building Camelot for some time now and several posts have stuck with me.

One is My 5 Biggest Fears Being A Dad. This post is with me simply because it truly makes you think about your own fears as a parent. As a mom, I share many of Tyler’s fears, with a few additional of my own. I think every parent has a growing list and could add to the five.

The second post, 101 Awesome Sites for Men, Husbands and Fathers, is a great resource list compiled by Tyler and inspired by another parenting blog, DadThing. The listing includes dad blogs, how-to sites, general interest, online groups for dads, and other great links.
