Instead of panic (my first reaction, I admit), I’ve decided to embrace it. What better excuse for a summer packed full of fun?

We’re going to be hitting the local pool, running through sprinklers in the back yard, and playing in the park.

All that fun means we’ll be needing cool, refreshing drinks to help beat the heat. I’ve been experimenting with easy, healthy smoothie recipes, like this green tea matcha banana strawberry smoothie recipe and simpler matcha banana smoothie.

I fell in love with this simple, delicious almond milk berry smoothie recipe the first time I made it.

I used unsweetened Silk Almond. It’s only 35 calories a serving, and a wonderful source of Vitamin D. Drop all of that healthy goodness in a blender, and mix.
