A Delight for Sensitive Eyes: Cliradex Light Foaming Cleanser

Because my whole family has sensitive skin, I’ve always been a fan of gentle cleansers.

In fact, the gentler the better, especially when it comes to the sensitive skin around the eyes. For years, I avoided using eye cleansers because I was worried they would irritate the skin around my eyes!

Cliradex Light is the perfect cleansing formula for the hygiene of the eyelid and of the sensitive skin around the eye and on the face. Cliradex says it’s non-irritating and gentle, yet effective, providing an all-natural solution for cleaning the sensitive skin of the eyelid as well as the area around the eye, without causing redness, itching, swelling and other issues that so often affect those with sensitive skin.

Cliradex products are manufactured for Bio-Tissue, Inc. The Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Bio-Tissue, Inc. is Scheffer Tseng, M.D., Ph.D., a practicing ophthalmologist.

Cliradex Light is made using gentle ingredients. The main ingredient of the foam is 4-Terpineol, a compound extracted from Melaleuca Alternifolia, also known as the narrow-leaved tea tree. This plant has been long thought to have superior antiseptic and antimicrobial properties and has been used for ages to treat internal and external inflammations.

The cleanser’s formula is alcohol- and fragrance-free and it does not contain any parabens, sulfates, or preservatives.

The benefits of using Cliradex Light go beyond keeping sensitive eyes and sensitive skin clean. The foam may also help with eye dryness as well as inflammation caused by Demodex mites (also known as eyelash mites). It may also combat blepharitis, an inflammation caused by the clogging of the oil glands located at the base of the eyelash.

I found Cliradex Light very easy to use.

All I did was apply the foam on my skin twice a day using a cleansing towelette.

You can also use Cliradex towelettes to apply the cleanser. They are available separately and also included in the Cliradex starter kit along with the cleanser foam.

I used the foaming cleanser not only on the skin around the eye but on the entire face as well. For me, the gentle foam penetrated deeply into the skin and cleaned it efficiently, removing impurities from the deeper layers upwards without irritating it. My skin felt soft, smooth, and healthy.
