I’m so lucky that my kids go to a great school that knows the importance of technology in the classroom.

While I’m fortunate enough to help my kids with technology at home, not all students have that advantage. Many students rely on schools to teach them the fundamental computer and tech skills they’ll need for the rest of their lives.

In an era where technology reaches almost every aspect of our lives, I think it’s essential that kids learn to use tech in schools.

Schoolkids Working on Laptops

The latest technology can empower students in so many ways, and transform your classroom.

With the right devices, students can:

  • Read, research and take notes
  • Learn at their own pace
  • Prepare and edit assignments more efficiently
  • Communicate and collaborate on projects with ease
  • Master technology skills that prepare them for future educational endeavors and careers

I’m thrilled to partner with Best Buy on this post, because they’re a company that believes every student should have access to technology.

Students using digital tablets in class

They have a big selection of tablets, laptops and chrome devices for classroom use, and they’ve partnered with schools around the country to provide technology they need to succeed.

When staff and teachers need help, Best Buy also offers on-site Geek Squad® training and support for students and faculty.

If you’re looking for new tech for your classroom, the folks at Best Buy are happy to consult and give knowledgeable, unbiased advice to help you find the products and services best for your budget and needs. They can help if you’re bringing in new devices in the classroom, launching a BYOD initiative, or even upgrading the technology throughout your school.
