raspberry vodka martini with raspberry liqueur

This raspberry martini is such a simple, easy martini recipe!

Just add the two main ingredients to ice, shake (or stir!), pour into a chilled martini glass, and you have a fruity, delicious cocktail. I really love that there’s no fussing with difficult ingredients.

Raspberry is one of my favorite flavors. It’s a wonderful combination of sweet and tangy, and it always adds a fresh taste to raspberry recipes or fruity drinks.

The deep ruby red of this cocktail is gorgeous! I love to relax and hold my martini glass up to the sit when I sit out on the back deck for an evening drink with the hubby.

I absolutely love a refreshing, fruity cocktail, like this bikini martini or our cherry white wine sangria.

If you’re in the mood for another simple cocktail, a Moscow Mule made with bitters is a great twist, and a classic vodka Sprite and cranberry cocktail is always a hit with friends.

Raspberry Vodka Martini

There are only three ingredients in this drink (including ice).

  • vodka
  • raspberry liqueur
  • ice

It’s optional, but I love to use fresh raspberries, for garnish.

To get the best results from this drink, get a really good quality raspberry liqueur.

One of our local distilleries (Okanagan Spirits in Kelowna, BC) makes a fantastic raspberry liqueur from locally sourced fresh raspberries, so it’s our go-to liqueur for this drink.

If you’re looking for a quality raspberry liqueur that you can buy almost anywhere, pick up some Chambord.

ingredients for raspberry martini

Raspberry martini with Chambord

Chambord is a black raspberry liqueur, made in the Loire Valley in France with fresh raspberries and black raspberries, Madagascar vanilla, citrus peel, honey and cognac.

The liqueur’s history dates back to the 1600s, and it’s said Chambord’s predecessors were drunk by royalty with elegant meals.

To make this raspberry cocktail with Chambord, just use Chambord as the raspberry liqueur in the recipe.

Although Chambord says it’s a black raspberry liqueur, the color is a deep, rich red, so your martini will still be a gorgeous ruby red.

Raspberry martini with Razzmatazz schnapps

If you don’t have Chambord on hand, or it’s not available, Razzmatazz makes a pretty good substitute.

DeKuyper Razzmatazz is a raspberry cordial with a strong raspberry flavor.

To make a Razzmatazz martini, just use Razzmatazz in your recipe.

Raspberry lemon drop martini

If you’re looking for a slightly less sweet version, try making this into a lemon raspberry martini. The lemon adds a really nice tartness that contrasts with the sweetness of the raspberry liqueur.

Just add 1 ounce of freshly squeezed lemon juice to make this into a lemon raspberry cocktail.
